Vacation Rental Description This 4 bedroom/2 bath year round lake home built in 1997 is a no smoking, no pets, sleeps 10 with all the comforts of home. Located on the 13th largest Minnesota Lake - Lake Minnewaska (7,110 acres). Excellent lake for swimming, fishing (Bass fishing is awesome right off our dock!), ice-fishing (winter of course), boating, sailing, jet-skiing, scrap-booking/stamping groups, beautiful sunsets, etc. We are located approximately 2 hours drive northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul and 15 miles south of Alexandria. This home is located on a quiet, dead-end road by other private homes. No Hwy. noise.Vacation Rental Amenities Home is No-Smoking and No Pets. Nicely furnished and maintained 2,000 sq.ft. house built in 1997. 4 Bedroom/2 Full Baths (incl.Jacuzzi Bath) (Master-UL 13x15, Bd 2-UL 12x15, Bd 3-Main 9x12, Bd 4-LL 11.5x11.5) Only comforters, blankets, and pillows provided (3 – Queens, 1 – Full (basement), 1 Full (Hide-a-bed-basement, Full Size Baby Crib (UL– Bdrm #2). Please bring your own towels and linens. Carpeted and comfortable living-dining (26x13-Main) areas Two decks (10x26-Main & 4x8-UL) overlooking lake with beachfront, sunset view Fully equipped kitchen (16x8-Main) – Gas stove/exhaust hood, fridge, microwave, toaster, dishes, blender, coffee pot, utensils, etc. (no dishwasher) 50’ dock & bench, manual boat lift (up to 18’/3,000lbs), boat bumpers, seating bench (new in 2003) Private swimming & fishing area, fire pit, and horseshoes Central air, ceiling fans (all bedrooms and den) 27" TV, DVD/VCR (Main) & 13" TV/VCR (LL Den) Local phone service only (calling card/cell-phone needed for long distance) Webber Gas grill (propane provided), 8-person picnic table, toddlers play equipment. Washing machine/dryer/iron/extra fridge Some kids toys & accessories, books, videos, puzzles, high chair, kids stool, baby gates, full size baby crib, etc.

public boat launches. Gas available on the lake for boats. Deer, ducks, geese, fish, pheasant, and now turkeys are featured game in Pope County. Several local restaurants accessible by boat and car. Antique and craft shops in local towns.

Vacation Rental Rates Peak Season: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Repeat Peak Season guests will be given 1st choice for the next Peak Season. A Wait List is available. Saturday to Saturday Stay - $1,400.00 for 2008 summer season (peak) if booked by March 1, 2008. $1450.00 if booked after March 1, 2008. Saturday to Saturday Stay - $1,440.00 for 2009 summer season (peak) if booked by March 1, 2009. $1490.00 if booked after March 1, 2009. $450.00 Deposit required for the summer season by check or credit card. $25 extra per person over 10 persons. 10% discount for a 2-week consecutive booking between Memorial Day - Labor Day. Check-in: 3pm Check-out: 10am
Off-Peak Season: Post-Labor Day through Pre-Memorial Day Weekend. $125.00 per night - minimum 2 night stay. $100.00 deposit for off-peak season. Fall/Winter/Spring Special - book 7 days and pay only $650.00 Fall/Winter/Spring Weekend packages also available. (Ex: 4 days/3 nights is $300.00) $25 extra per person over 10 persons. Check-in: Noon Check-out: 4pm Early Check-in and Late Check-out available upon request.
Making Your Reservation We have a reservation fee of ($450 deposit (summer groups), $100 deposit (non-summer groups)) that can be paid by credit card or check. We will hold reservations for one week if you wish to send a check or money order. You will receive a confirmation packet of your reservation by mail. Final Payment is required before check in. We accept check, money order, cashier’s check, Visa, and MasterCard. Credit card payments will be charged a 4% service fee. Cancellation Policy You are financially responsible for the entire confirmed reservation. A written confirmation will be issued for any changes made by telephone/email. Please understand that once we have lost income from a rental, it cannot be recovered, and our season is very short. In case of cancellation, for any reason including personal emergency, our ability to return your deposit depends on our ability to re-rent the unit for those dates. We will make our best effort to do so, and the longer notice we have, the better our chances. If we cannot re-rent, the deposit is forfeited. If we do re-rent, we will return your deposit less a $50.00 handling fee.
